About this package
A day of birdwatching at Zuro Loma and the Alambi Reserve, in the Ecuadorian Chocó cloud forest, very close to Mindo. It is a great way to start getting to know the birds of the area at an easy pace, with a certified guide beside you on every walk. The star bird of the outing is the Sword-billed Hummingbird (Ensifera ensifera), unmistakable for its very long bill, which gives it its name. Other hummingbirds of the area are likely to join in during the day. It includes a certified guide, transport, entrance fees and a snack. It is an ideal plan if this is your first day of birding in Mindo or if you are looking for a single-day outing; bring comfortable clothes and your binoculars if you have them.
